Flashcard Learning Everywhere

December 19, 2008

You can learn topics using this flashcard method through some desktop softwares, e.g. Anki and Mnemosyne Project. Both support some portability: Mnemosyne Project can be run from a USB thumb drive, while Anki can let you sync between different computers and access via the browser. But for group study or sharing flashcards, you need web services like Quizlet or Study Stack.

Both can let you find others’ flashcards or create your own. You can study alone or with other members in a group. Furthermore, You can play some crossword game based on the flashcards. Study Stack can allows you to export flashcards for your cell phone, iPod or PDA with third-party softwares installed. That’s really cool, isn’t it?🙂
