Eee PC Model Chart

Many people like me get really confused in Asus’s Eee PC product line. So many models. Here is the comparison chart of all Eee PC models from the official site in UK, including the announced but yet-to-be-released 904 (not include the rumored 903 and 905).

I was tempted to buy one in June when all these news stories about Intel-based Atom CPU in subnotebook so-called “netbook” or “net-top” products. A 1-kg notebook sounds great for going on road. Check emails, surf the internet, and even can work on some office documents. And it’s much cheaper than those Japanese subnotebook models.

But now look at the trend in Asus’s Eee PC line. Bigger screen, larger storage capacity, and longer battery life mean heavier in weight and higher in price. Where is the original idea of a cheap and light netbook?
