Doesn’t anyone love pop-up books? I do. They are always facinating to me. The only down side is that they usually only have fewer pages than the common illustration books. New York Times recently review several pop-up books (“Coming at You” on 11/12/2006). I’m especially interested in this book, called “MOMMY?“.

Illustrated by Maurice Sendak. Scenario by Arthur Yorinks.

Maurice Sendak, best know for his book “Where the Wild Things Are” (published in 1963) has given us his latest work this Fall. Could be a great gift for Christmas. Have a look at some pages (from New York Times):
